The Ingredients – Each One Matters

4 whole Seabream or Sea bass, marinated in lemon juice – The lemon brightens the fish and neutralizes any brininess.
Freshly chopped parsley (tightly packed) – The parsley forms the heart of the chimichurri, adding freshness and color.
A red bell pepper, finely minced – Adds sweetness, crunch, and a beautiful contrast to the green herbs.
Kosher salt – Essential for seasoning the fish and enhancing the boldness of the sauce.
Extra virgin olive oil (mild aroma) – Carries the flavors, moistens the fish, and brings richness.
Dry oregano – Adds earthy depth and classic Mediterranean warmth.
Garlic powder or 4 garlic cloves, minced – For pungency and aroma that ties the sauce together.
Natural date syrup – Balances the acidity with a subtle sweetness that elevates the chimichurri.
Freshly squeezed lemon juice – Adds zing and helps emulsify the sauce for better coating and flavor absorption.

Quick Instructions – What to Expect

After a short lemon marinade, the fish is patted dry, and rubbed generously with the bold homemade chimichurri sauce mixture. Once rested and baked at moderate heat, the result is juicy, flavorful fish and aromatic herb pockets in every bite.

What to Pair It With

Serve alongside a lemony quinoa salad, or tomato cucumber salad, and white rice, or potato halves.

It also pairs beautifully with warm pita and a drizzle of tahini, or a crisp white wine for a fuller Mediterranean experience.

Storage Tips

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. Reheat gently in the oven to maintain texture. The chimichurri can be made ahead and kept refrigerated for up to 5 days.

Health Spotlight – Why It’s Good for You

Seabream is rich in lean protein and omega-3s, promoting heart and brain health. Parsley is packed with antioxidants, while garlic and olive oil offer anti-inflammatory and cardiovascular benefits.
